Job summary

Aeronix Inc is seeking a Senior RF Electrical Engineer in Melbourne, FL to lead RF architecture, design, analysis, and validation across RF bands including satellite comms. You will mentor junior engineers and drive design from concept through production.

Responsibilities include end‑to‑end RF system work, schematics, layouts, test campaigns, and collaboration with manufacturing for DFM/DFT. Requires 15+ years in RF engineering and DoD eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years RF engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or high-frequency sectors.
• US Person; ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Expert-level RF circuit design knowledge including transceivers, LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, PLLs, oscillators, and antenna systems.

Responsibilities

• End‑to‑end RF system design and analysis including link budgets and thermal assessments.
• Develop RF/mixed-signal schematics; coordinate PCB layout for optimal RF routing and EMI/EMC.
• Architect and optimize RF signal chains for transceivers, radios, microwave links, and SATCOM systems.
• Lead RF hardware bring‑up, calibration, and system validation.
• Plan and execute test campaigns using VNAs and analyzers; support manufacturing with DFM/DFT.
