Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a Lead RF Engineer – Aperture Architect to lead antennas and apertures on a major air proprietary program. You will guide RF aperture design, ensuring performance across sensing, structural, and low observable requirements, and mentor a team of engineers.

You will collaborate with IPT leadership to deliver a compliant system design and drive technical execution from concept through integration, while championing best practices and technical excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical or related) or equivalent
• 14+ years of related work experience with degree or equivalent
• Experience in leading the integration of RF apertures into air vehicles
• Experience with Computational Electromagnetics Modeling
• Experience with structural design practices
• Experience with low observable design practices

Responsibilities

• Drives technical excellence throughout all aperture design activities
• Provides technical leadership and ensures use of best practices across programs
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
• Works closely with program managers and other Boeing teams to ensure mission success
• Provides mentoring and coaching to other aperture design engineers
• Captures lessons learned and best practices for future programs
• Resolves complex problems impacting completion of milestones
