Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL seeks a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer (RF/Antenna) to support verification testing of complex antennas and systems, including reflector antennas, feeds and phased arrays. You will perform calibration, range testing, and document test results.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team, interact with program leads, and help produce test plans and technical documentation. A bachelor’s degree with 6+ years (or graduate degree with 4+) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret antenna test system architectures and use measurement assets.
• Test antenna products within multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Lead traditional antenna test methods (far-field, near-field).
• Support test programs with standard equipment (Keysight, Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, NSI-MI).
• Produce engineering documentation including specs, test procedures, and plans.
• Communicate complex technical information effectively in writing and speech.
