Job summary

Kymeta is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Engineer to use metamaterial technology and develop next‑gen electronically steered flat-panel antennas. You will own projects from concept through hardware qualification and work with software, system, and mechanical engineers in a dynamic team at Kymeta.

The role emphasizes designing and validating electronically scanned antennas, conducting measurements, and delivering efficient, lighter, and cost-effective solutions compared with traditional satellite

Qualifications

Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience.
Experience with array antennas and passive microwave devices in Ku/Ka bands.

Responsibilities

Research and develop electronic beam steering antenna concepts.
Perform analytical and full-wave analyses of antenna and waveguide components.
Prototype and hardware development with mechanical/electrical/process engineers for small- and full-scale antennas.
Collaborate with test engineers for comprehensive farfield and nearfield measurements.
