Job summary

Kymeta Corp in Redmond, WA, is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Engineer to push metamaterial-based electronically steered antennas for satellite communications. You will own design verification prototypes and collaborate across software, systems, and mechanical engineers to deliver next-generation flat-panel antennas.

You will perform full-wave analyses, prototype hardware, and support testing to validate concepts in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with design and hardware implementation of array antennas and passive microwave devices in Ku/Ka bands.
• Experience with electronically scanned antennas is a significant plus.
• Proficient in RF measurement techniques including near-field and far-field measurements.
• Experience using ANSYS HFSS for full-wave analysis.
• Proficient in Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Research and development of electronic beam steering antenna concepts.
• Analytical and full-wave analysis of antenna and waveguide components.
• Prototype and hardware development with cross-functional engineers for small scale proof of concept and full-scale prototypes.
• Collaborate with test engineers to conduct farfield and nearfield measurements.
