Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior RF Engineer (Starlink) to own phased array, Wi‑Fi, and RF systems for customer‑facing hardware. You will design, test, and integrate antennas and reflector systems with cross‑functional teams across engineering disciplines.

You will interact with leadership to influence constellation operations while driving prototype to production activities, including automation and validation for high‑volume products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional RF experience with antennas or communications systems.
• 5+ years of experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, VSGs, network analyzers).
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python, C++, or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas and RF front ends for next‑gen systems.
• Create electromagnetic simulations to evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with EE, ME, DSP and software teams to validate RF systems.
• Develop alignment solutions for phased arrays and production test solutions.
• Write automation software to interface with test units and equipment.
