Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an RF Engineer for Starlink to own phased array, Wi‑Fi, and other RF systems for customer‑facing hardware. You will design, implement, and verify small router antennas, phased arrays, and reflector systems while collaborating with EE, ME, DSP and software teams from concept to production.

You will help deploy gateways/ground stations globally, create EM simulations, test RF performance, and write Python automation to streamline tests and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional RF experience with antennas or communication systems.
• 1+ years of professional experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VSA, VSG, VNAs).
• 1+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas and RF front ends for next‑generation systems.
• Create electromagnetic simulation models to evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with EE, ME, DSP and software engineers to validate RF systems.
• Create and test phased array alignment solutions.
• Develop design validation and production test solutions for high‑volume products.
• Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test and test equipment.
