Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Revit Technician to join our Data Center team. You will develop mechanical designs, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff throughout conceptual planning to construction documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience on complex facility projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and BIM-based design workflows.
• Experience producing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Strong multi-disciplinary coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit/BIM models for mechanical systems on data center projects.
• Prepare construction documents for HVAC, chilled water, condenser water, and hydronic piping systems.
• Support Basis of Design documents, system narratives, and design criteria packages.
• Create mechanical floor plans, equipment layouts, sections, details, and piping/ductwork routing drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and BIM staff; provide technical guidance.
