Job summary

Jacobs, a leader in data center and mission‑critical facilities, seeks a Senior Mechanical Revit Technician to drive mechanical design efforts from concept through construction documents for high‑end data center projects.

You will collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and cross‑disciplinary teams, mentoring BIM staff and advancing standards while delivering coordinated, constructible solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience on complex facility projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM-based workflows.
• Experience preparing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Coordination with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit/BIM models for data center systems.
• Prepare design and construction documents for HVAC and piping.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications during construction.
• Mentor junior designers and BIM staff.
• Contribute to BIM standards and best practices.
