Job summary

DataSoft Technologies is seeking a Senior-Level Revit Piping Designer to independently develop piping designs and lead portions of project scope. You will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, ensuring model quality, operability, and adherence to design standards while supporting estimating and change-management discussions.

This long-term contract role offers hybrid work options (Portland, OR) with potential extension or conversion to full-time.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher with +2 years practical experience.
10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Semi-Conductors).
Proficiency in Revit for piping design with at least 3 years solid usage.
Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation.
Ability to work independently with general oversight while managing assigned design tasks.
Strong communication and coordination skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy.

Responsibilities

Support workshare execution and contribute to estimating and change-management discussions.
