Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Revit Piping Designer. You will develop piping designs, lead portions of project scope, and coordinate directly with engineers and other disciplines.

You will ensure operability, model quality, and adherence to design standards while supporting estimating and change-management discussions. This hybrid role requires weekly office attendance (2 days) within 50 miles of an office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Design Technology or related field (or equivalent practical experience of 2+ years).
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductors).
• Proficiency in Revit for piping design and modeling. Minimum of 3 years solid Revit usage.
• Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with general oversight while managing your assigned design tasks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy.

• Associate’s degree in Design Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience of 2+ years).
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductors).
• Proficiency in Revit for piping design and modeling. You will need a minimum of 3 years of solid Revit usage.
• Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with general oversight while managing your assigned design tasks.

Ideally, You Will Have the Following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology or similar curriculum.
• Experience in semiconductor facilities.
• Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations and how they influence routing and support design.
• Experience with QA/QC workflows, model health reviews, and specification-driven design.
• Advanced capability with Revit such as family/part development and trouble-shooting.
• Prior leadership in Piping teams, including oversight of model consistency and deliverable quality.
