Job summary

DataSoft Technologies is seeking a Senior-Level Revit Piping Designer to independently develop piping designs and lead portions of project scope. You will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, ensuring model quality, operability, and adherence to design standards while supporting estimating and change-management discussions.

This long-term contract role offers hybrid work options (Portland, OR) with potential extension or conversion to full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with +2 years practical experience.
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Semi-Conductors).
• Proficiency in Revit for piping design with at least 3 years solid usage.
• Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work independently with general oversight while managing assigned design tasks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy.

Responsibilities

As a Senior-Level Revit Piping Designer, you’ll independently develop piping designs, lead portions of project scope, and coordinate directly with engineers and other disciplines. You will provide technical input on operability, model quality, and design standards while supporting workshare execution and contributing to estimating and change-management discussions.

Ideally, You Will Have

• -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology or similar curriculum.
• -Experience in semiconductor facilities.
• -Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations and how they influence routing and support design.
