Amentum is seeking a Mechanical Piping Designer with heavy Revit experience to support our projects, developing 3D piping models and P&ID drawings using Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet industry codes and project requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on drafting, isometrics, and piping plans, with exposure to ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8. Citizenship is required for client work in the United States; salary is hourly from $40 to $52, with

Qualificações

6 years of construction or 3D modeling experience.
Skills with CAD software.
Proficient in current engineering design and drafting software packages.
Operational knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs.
Revit, AutoCAD 3D design, AutoCAD Plant 3D a plus.
Client projects require U.S. Citizenship.

Responsabilidades

Draft a 3D model in a CAD software.
Work with engineers to ensure your design is sound.
3D piping and equipment models of entire projects; optimize piping design with some supervision.
Provide verbal input during model reviews.
Draft P&ID redlines and develop high level P&IDs from scratch.
Generate project deliverables (isometrics, piping plans, plot plans, MTOs) and reviews prior to checking.
Understand pipe specifications and materials per ASTM/ASME codes.
Under supervision, generate project piping estimates for review.
