Job summary

New American Funding seeks a Reverse Mortgage Loan Consultant to meet with seniors, explain options, and help them understand how the product may meet their financial needs. You will leverage your network to generate referrals and build trust with clients.

You will manage the loan process from qualification to closing, input data into origination software, structure and price loans per guidelines, and coordinate with operations to deliver great service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years full-time reverse mortgage origination experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• Active CA DBO and NMLS licenses; obtain 4 additional NMLS licenses.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages existing relationships with network and potential borrowers to help customers achieve mortgage financing goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financial situations to provide appropriate loan product advice.
• Ensure each loan meets customer needs and New American Funding standards.
• Understand the loan origination process and manage applications with operations staff.
• Input and upload customer information into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately per NAF guidelines.
• Other duties may be assigned.
