Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of revenue operations, billing, or accounts receivable experience in financial services.
• Experience at hedge funds, private equity, fund administrators, or alt investment platforms preferred.
• Self-starter with initiative and fast learning in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with AI-assisted drafting, summarization, and research in day-to-day work.
• Experience with NetSuite and BillingPlatform or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly revenue close process for multiple entities, including accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules.
• Review customer contracts and ASC 606 revenue recognition; ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end customer billing across subsidiaries; validate against fund agreements.
• Monitor payments and overdue balances; follow up with clients and custodians.
• Maintain AR and GL records; post transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Utilize BillingPlatform to streamline invoicing and automate revenue workflows.
• Prepare aging reports and monthly AR financial reports; support month-end and year-end close.
• Improve internal controls and processes across AR and billing.
• Partner with Fund Management, Operations, and Sales on fee calculations and invoicing.
• Perform other duties related to accounts receivable and finance.
