Job summary

Halozyme, Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager, Revenue & GTN Accounting to lead complex revenue accounting, GTN analysis, project accounting, billing and forecasting.

The role is based in San Diego, CA or Ewing, NJ and requires strong cross-functional leadership to ensure accurate reporting and scalable processes. You will drive close activities, evaluate contracts for ASC 606, manage AR and invoicing, and partner with analytics teams on budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• CPA or CMA required (active certification preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance and technical accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of pharma/biotech/healthcare GTN accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Experience with third-party logistics and managed-care providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue and gross-to-net accounting close for partnered products.
• Ensure accurate reporting of product revenue, AR, distributor activity and GTN reserves.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, reserve calculations and analyses.
• Manage partner pricing reconciliations, invoicing, project accounting and AR.
• Evaluate revenue contracts for ASC 606 compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally to support revenue analytics, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive process, system and control improvements for accuracy and scalability.
• Support audits with quality documentation and timely responses.
• Maintain revenue accounting policies and SOX controls.
