Job summary

Gosnaphop is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant for a contract role in Austin, TX (onsite). The successful candidate will join the Revenue team to manage revenue-related GL activity, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate revenue reporting in line with GAAP.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and comfort working with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL exposure.
• Experience supporting revenue accounting or revenue-focused teams preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger activities related to revenue and revenue accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries including recurring, accrual, and adjusting entries.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of revenue and related balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze revenue activity and investigate discrepancies between systems and the GL.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
