We are seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team within the Yield Management Division. This role involves managing complex recurring and daily functions essential for business operations, such as check applications, offsets, invoicing, and resolving discrepancies to ensure timely payments. The Senior Specialist will also serve as a point of contact and mentor for other team members, contributing to training and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in revenue cycle processes.
  • Assist in developing onboarding materials and training new hires.
  • Ensure organizational functions are completed accurately and on time, complying with policies and regulations.
  • Monitor processes and prepare management reports on departmental performance.
  • Identify and implement procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and revenue.
  • Resolve errors and handle exceptions with limited risk.
  • Propose and implement process improvements in revenue cycle operations.
  • Serve as a key contact for audits and client issues, conducting research and resolving claims.
  • Post payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Understand and utilize various online systems for claim processing and adjudication.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Meet productivity goals and adhere to departmental rules and standards.
  • Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or a related bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Access is a plus.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle practices and healthcare industry experience is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Additional Details

Base pay ranges from $22.50 to $24.00 per hour, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses and overtime pay. We offer comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid leave, holidays, and PTO. This position is remote, full-time, and entry level.
