Job summary

Oscar Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Manager, Provider Operations, to lead and optimize our revenue cycle across OMG. You will own strategies for professional billing, coding, claims management, denials, and documentation to improve reimbursement and financial performance.

This role reports to the Director, Clinical Operations, requires a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office weekly, and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience including professional billing and coding.
• 3+ years leading revenue cycle programs, teams, or functions.
• Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS, modifiers, edits, and payer requirements.
• Experience developing and executing revenue cycle strategies to improve outcomes.
• Experience with coding integrity, provider documentation reviews, and pre/post-bill review.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across clinical/finance/compliance.
• Strong executive communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and performance of OMG's revenue cycle including billing, coding, claims, denials, and documentation.
• Serve as senior SME for CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS and payer requirements.
• Establish and monitor revenue cycle KPIs and controls using data analysis.
• Lead coding and documentation integrity strategies and provider education.
• Lead denial prevention and sustainable corrective actions across teams.
• Partner with Clinical Ops, Finance, Compliance, Credentialing, Product/Tech to resolve issues.
• Develop scalable revenue cycle policies, workflows, and vendor oversight.
• Advise OMG leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities; drive initiatives to implementation.
