Adventist HealthCare seeks a Sr. Revenue Cycle Specialist to verify and correct insurance information, charges and coding for electronic claims, follow payer guidelines, and manage denials and appeals. You will work with payer contacts, reconcile billing backlogs, and generate key metrics.

Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10 and EHR systems, especially eClinicalWorks, is preferred. Ideal candidates have a finance/accounting background and at least seven years in revenue cycle roles, with high

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in revenue cycle or related field.
• Certified medical coder a plus; EHR experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Verifies and corrects insurance information, charges and coding issues for electronic claims.
• Contacts insurance companies regarding status of appeals.
• Daily reconciliation and elimination of billing backlogs.
• Review EOBs and initiate appeals as necessary.
• Monitor metrics: AR days, denials, write-offs, refunds.
