Job summary

SBS Creatix, LLC is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst on a contract basis to support revenue accounting within a tight-knit accounting team in the Greater St. Louis area.

The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and variance analysis rather than FP&A planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, month-end close experience, and proficiency with Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI to drive reporting and efficiency in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and 6+ years in Finance
• Revenue accounting experience is preferred but not required; accounting background is essential
• Strong foundation in debits/credits, revenue recognition, and general accounting practices

Responsibilities

• Support revenue and subsidiary accounting, including trade revenue and captive lending revenue
• Process and record cash receipts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Complete account reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and explain drivers of variances
• Manage daily, weekly, and month-end accounting activities
• Pull information from multiple sources to understand revenue impacts
• Support process improvements to streamline accounting cycle
