Job summary

Sprinklr is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Advisory to partner across Sales, Legal, Pricing, and Finance and ensure ASC 606 compliance for revenue transactions. This global leader will guide a 7-10 person team, drive technical accounting analyses, and shape SSP governance and revenue policies.

The role requires deep SaaS revenue expertise, experience with SEC reporting, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of combined Big 4 public accounting and industry experience, with significant experience in revenue recognition and technical accounting.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 within SaaS, software, subscription, and technology business models.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing accounting teams, including direct management responsibilities.
• Strong experience preparing technical accounting memoranda and position papers for complex revenue transactions.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SSP methodologies and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global Revenue Accounting team of approximately 7-10 professionals.
• Serve as the primary revenue recognition advisor to Sales, Legal, Pricing, Deal Desk, and Executive Leadership.
• Review and approve complex customer arrangements to ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Establish scalable contract frameworks and commercial structures to support growth.
• Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance to enhance quote-to-cash processes and controls.
• Draft and review technical accounting memoranda supporting revenue conclusions for complex contracts.
• Own SSP methodology, governance, and executive presentations.
• Lead development and maintenance of revenue recognition policies and position papers.
• Drive cross-functional training on revenue recognition and deal structures.
• Collaborate with Internal/External Audit for SOX and audits.
• Monitor evolving standards and regulatory developments.
• Support SEC reporting processes and revenue disclosures.
