Job summary

OCM Partners is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant / Revenue Manager to build and scale our revenue function in a high-growth SaaS environment. You will own ASC 606 revenue recognition, manage monthly and quarterly closes, review contracts, and optimize billing and revenue reporting for accuracy and efficiency.

• 4–7 years of revenue accounting experience with ASC 606 knowledge.
• Experience with SaaS, subscription, committed-use, and/or usage-based revenue models.

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition for a recurring-revenue technology business.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly revenue close, including deferred and unbilled revenue and related balance sheet schedules.
• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment and revenue recognition.
• Oversee key aspects of billing, accounts receivable, cash application, and collections.
• Prepare reconciliations, aging reports, variance analysis, and revenue-related metrics.
• Build and improve revenue accounting policies, controls, and scalable close processes.
• Support external audits, diligence requests, and overall audit readiness.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance and other business teams on revenue-related matters.
• Help identify opportunities to use technology and automation to streamline accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.

About the Role

Senior Revenue Accountant / Revenue Manager — Direct Hire. This is a foundational revenue hire who will help build and scale the function—not simply inherit established processes.

Pay range and compensation package

Comp: $120K–$150K base + potential 10% bonus.
