Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant in the San Francisco Bay Area to join a growing life sciences organization. The role offers visibility and growth as responsibilities expand with the business.

You will support revenue accounting, gross-to-net, inventory, and standard costing, and participate in monthly and quarterly closes. Hybrid schedule with onsite presence as needed and exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred but not required.

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join a growing life sciences organization in the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys technical work but also wants broader exposure, visibility within the organization, and the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility over time.

As the company's commercial product portfolio continues to expand, this individual will provide critical support across revenue accounting, gross-to-net activities, inventory, standard costing, and the monthly and quarterly close. You'll work closely with an experienced revenue accounting leader and gradually take ownership of additional products and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support revenue accounting activities and monthly/quarterly close


• Assist with gross-to-net accounting and related processes


• Work with high-volume financial and operational data


• Support inventory accounting and standard costing


• Perform account analysis, reconciliations, and other close-related activities


• Help identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes


• Research accounting issues and independently work through problems


• Develop broader ownership of revenue and product-related accounting responsibilities over time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• Strong foundation in accounting and revenue


• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets


• Excellent attention to detail


• Ability to research issues, problem-solve, and work independently


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines


• Gross-to-net experience is highly desirable, but not required for someone with a strong revenue/accounting foundation


• Experience within life sciences, biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical device, manufacturing, or a relevant public accounting environment will be considered


• CPA and/or public accounting experience is preferred but not required
