Job summary

CFS in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join a growing technology-focused team. You'll partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations and take ownership of critical revenue accounting processes under ASC 606.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, managing month-end close, and maintaining Workday revenue schedules, with collaboration across departments and audits. This hybrid role offers exposure to modern financial systems and opportunities to drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; strong ASC 606 knowledge.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and revenue accounting in a SaaS/tech/services environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Workday preferred), reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, amendments, SOWs, POs, and reseller agreements for ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Analyze performance obligations, service periods, modifications, variable consideration, and other revenue accounting matters.
• Own month-end revenue activities: revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled accounts receivable, customer deposits, and account reconciliations.
• Review and maintain revenue and billing schedules in Workday, investigating variances.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Service Delivery, and Finance teams to resolve contract and accounting questions while supporting audits, reporting, process improvements, and special projects.

• Review customer contracts, amendments, statements of work (SOWs), purchase orders, and reseller agreements to ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Analyze performance obligations, service periods, contract modifications, variable consideration, and other revenue accounting matters.
• Own month-end revenue activities, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled accounts receivable, customer deposits, and account reconciliations.
• Review and maintain revenue and billing schedules within Workday, investigating variances and resolving system-related issues.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Service Delivery, and Finance teams to resolve contract and accounting questions while supporting audits, reporting, process improvements, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and performing revenue accounting in a SaaS, technology, software, or services-based environment.
