Job summary

WFS Group is seeking highly consultative CFP professionals to join their inbound sales team, helping affluent retirees with retirement tax planning decisions. This is a high-ticket, inbound consultative sales role, not prospecting or cold calling, with a focus on warm Zoom conversations.

Ideal candidates are trusted advisors who enjoy education over hard selling and can create clear, meaningful insights during discussions with high-net-worth individuals.

Qualifications

• CFP® designation in good standing (non-negotiable).
• 5+ years in a client-facing financial planning, advisory, or consultative financial services role.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong consultative communication skills.
• Clean U4 regulatory history.
• Confidence presenting premium planning fees.
• Strong executive presence and professionalism on Zoom.
• High emotional intelligence and active listening ability.
• Strong follow-up discipline and pipeline management skills.
• Coachable mindset with willingness to follow a proven process.
• CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound Zoom consultations with qualified prospects.
• Use the client's diagnostic framework to assess retirement planning concerns and tax exposure risks.
• Educate prospects on retirement tax mitigation and Roth conversion planning concepts.
• Create meaningful "epiphany moments" that help prospects understand the long-term impact of tax planning decisions.
• Build trust and credibility through clear, consultative communication.
• Guide prospects through the decision-making process without relying on pressure-based sales tactics.
• Manage follow-up conversations and pipeline activity with discipline and consistency.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and forecasting.
• Participate in coaching sessions, team reviews, and ongoing training initiatives.
• Consistently achieve or exceed revenue and close-rate targets.
• Contribute positively to a high-performance, coachable team culture.
