Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Solutions Portfolio Manager – Retirement Solutions to act as a retirement and target date subject matter expert. The role focuses on supporting growth across U.S.

institutional, recordkeeper, intermediary and international markets with deep glide path and multi-asset expertise. You will communicate complex investment concepts to clients and collaborate with portfolio management, product, and distribution teams to deliver customized retirement solutions.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in asset management, retirement, investment consulting, or institutional investment solutions.
• Deep understanding of U.S. retirement market and target date fund landscape.
• Strong knowledge of glide path design, multi-asset portfolio construction, and retirement income considerations.

Responsibilities

• Represent FTIS’s retirement investment philosophy in meetings with plan sponsors, consultants, recordkeepers, advisors and other institutional clients.
• Serve as a senior product specialist for the Retirement Advantage target date platform.
• Support development of U.S. institutional retirement opportunities, including custom target date funds and large-plan mandates.
• Help expand FTIS relationships with major recordkeepers beyond existing partnerships.
• Provide glide path consultation for retirement systems and clients globally.
• Assist in creating institutional materials, thought leadership, and competitive analyses.
• Collaborate across investment, product, and distribution teams to deliver customized retirement solutions.
• Travel as needed to support client engagement and business development.
