Alerus is a commercial wealth bank and national retirement provider focused on helping clients reach their financial goals. This role leads the Retirement Relationship Managers, coaching them to deliver comprehensive guidance and drive new revenue opportunities across the retirement practice.

You will manage a team, coordinate with product experts, and mentor staff to optimize resources and client outcomes. Strong ERISA knowledge and client advisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing teams of Relationship Managers.
• Extensive retirement/ERISA experience.
• Strong client advisory and cross-sell ability.
• CRM proficiency and pipeline management.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and manage retirement business advisors individually and as a group.
• Develop career goals and paths for Retirement Relationship Managers.
• Ensure the use of the CRM for tracking opportunities and follow-up.
• Grow a portfolio of retirement plan clients with advanced solutions and service.
• Proactively solicit new retirement opportunities with existing clients.
