Job summary

CBIZ, Inc. in Houston seeks an experienced retirement plan documents specialist to prepare and maintain TPA plan documents for a high-volume client portfolio, provide technical support, and assist in design and modification to meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role includes handling IRS submissions, amendments, restatements, and terminations, offering compliance expertise throughout a plan’s life, and collaborating with internal teams while engaging with clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred; ERPA designation in progress is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of retirement plan regulations, plan document provisions, and defined benefits & defined contributions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and enterprise travel solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Third Party Administered retirement plan documents for a high-volume client portfolio.
• Provide technical support answering plan document related questions and issues.
• Assist in design, customization, and ongoing modification of retirement plan documents to meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide compliance expertise during a plan's lifetime such as IRS submissions, plan amendments, restatements and terminations
