Job summary

Rockler Round Rock, TX is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Associate for a part-time customer service role. You will explain, demonstrate, and sell woodworking supplies and tools, while keeping the sales floor tidy and welcoming.

When not with customers you will perform store maintenance, assist with pricing, merchandising, and follow store manager directives. Attendance is essential and you will participate in all store duties as needed. Total solution emphasis drives related item recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school graduate.
• Knowledge of woodworking and hand tools preferred.
• Previous retail sales experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes store as directed, and may perform other management tasks.
• Assist customers, answer questions, and ring sales on the POS.
• Provide total solution by suggesting related items for projects.
• Maintain neat, stocked, and appealing displays on the sales floor.
• Handle refunds and documentation per procedures; balance cash register.
• Refer customers to other sources when items are unavailable.
• Assist with unloading and merchandising as needed; attend scheduled shifts.
