Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment teams at local retail stores. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with commercial systems and a strong safety mindset.

The position involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration HVAC assets, following safety and environmental regulations, and responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely and comply with safety policies.
