Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Labor & Workload to lead labor planning, forecasting, and scheduling across the store network. You will drive payroll efficiency while enhancing the customer and associate experience.

The role partners with Finance, HR, IT, and field teams to shape workforce strategy and OpEx budgeting. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, advanced Excel, and expertise in workforce management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in retail workforce management and labor planning.
• Experience with multi-unit retail operations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Own store sales, workload, and payroll forecasting aligned with business trends.
• Develop labor models and scheduling practices to improve productivity.
• Lead adoption of labor processes and tools across the field.
• Forecast, reconcile, and manage the Retail OpEx budget with leadership.
• Provide clear project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
