Job summary

The J.Jill Group seeks a Planner to manage the financial and merchandise plans across categories, forecasting sales, margins, and inventory while identifying opportunities to mitigate risks with a merchandising partner.

Responsibilities include category-level planning, monthly reforecasts, and collaboration with allocations and sourcing to optimize stock and profitability. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in retail planning are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in retail planning and analysis.
• Proven track record of financially astute business management.
• Strong analytical skills with retail math expertise.

Responsibilities

• Creates monthly financial plans at category level.
• Presents forecast revisions of sales, gross margin, and inventory.
• Plans Basics, Seasonal Basics and Fashion styles by choice.
• Reforecasts core items by sales trends and inventory.
• Partner with Allocation on stock replenishment by style/color/size.
• Collaborates with Sourcing on receipts shifts based on trends.
• Reports on end-of-season performance across levels.
