Job summary

Aquent Studios is seeking a Sr. Designer to lead strategic conceptualization, visual expression, and design execution for high-impact physical environments and retail spaces.

You will drive 2D/3D design systems, partner with leadership and production teams, and mentor junior designers while managing high-fidelity production from ideation to final proofing. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in retail/environmental design, a strong portfolio of physical spaces, and expertise in brand stewardship

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional design experience with focus on retail, environmental, experiential, or physical space design
• Portfolio showing retail environments, visual merchandising, window displays or similar
• Strong 2D graphic design and visual systems expertise
• Experience developing creative concepts and providing art direction
• Understanding of translating graphic design to 3D/physical environments and architectural constraints
• Hands-on print production, fabrication, proofing, color management, physical execution
• Strong presentation and communication skills for senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead Creative Vision: drive concepts, mood boards, and vision decks for large-scale retail initiatives
• Establish robust 2D design systems, typography, and color frameworks for varied footprints
• Oversee visual strategy for flagship window displays and key VM touchpoints
• Collaborate with Spatial Designers, Experience Strategists, and Production Leads
• Direct print production and proofing, set color standards for flawless execution
• Present design strategies and solutions to senior leadership and regional stakeholders
