The Senior Retail Content Specialist will be responsible for leading the day-to-day item setup and optimization driving activities across multiple accounts while fostering positive internal and external relationships to drive mutually beneficial brand objectives and growth. The Senior Retail Content Specialist will manage internal and external retailer resources to bring the digital shelf to life, including retail set-ups, PDP content, brand pages, and webcollage’s to help support a high rate of conversion, digital penetration and market share growth. Working closely with retailer partners, including digital merchandising teams, buyers and planners, the Senior Retail Content Specialist will drive programs to win across retailers. This individual will have worked in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment, where s/he excelled at bringing a brand to life. As a strong cross-functional leader, the Senior Retail Content Specialist will find working with multiple teams exciting and understand how to navigate the complexities that can be associated with big working groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & execute account set ups for all new product (NPD) and assortment changes for key accounts, including setup sheets & routing of visual content (gallery images, video, webcollage), ensuring that content is best-in-class and optimized for conversion
  • Ability to present at internal and external customer meetings on item setup, content quality and optimization roadmaps
  • Be the driver of change: challenge retailer limitations to improve the way SharkNinja appears on the digital shelf
  • Work with external partners, including brand advocates where applicable to drive increased conversion online through content optimizations
  • Streamline internal processes while achieving higher quality results by creating & sharing playbooks & best practices to cross-funcational teams
  • Work with third party partners and tools to gain content insights
  • Primary project manager for execution of all elements needed to support SKUs in digital retail, including landing pages, display banners and all other forms of retailer creative
  • Super-user of retailer platforms: Proactively explore new tactics and understand new retailer capabilities, requirements and site merchandising levers
  • Drive retailers’ site merchandising capabilities for optimal navigation, cross merchandising and enhanced content
  • Optimize copy through SEO analysis to ensure we are right reaching the right consumers, at the right time, in the right place
  • Analyze competitive and complimentary products to identify trends and opportunities
  • Scrub site daily to ensure all product content is accurately represented and is best in class
  • Marketing Operations
  • Retailer portal to manage ongoing digital content changes for all skus
  • Salsify management and DAM super user
  • There is opportunity to further expand and grow through retail media management across a handful of key accounts

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years retail, CPG, wholesale or DTC work experience
  • Experience with item setups across different retailers (Walmart, Sam's, Lowes, Home Depot preferred)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and throughout levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail - being able to coordinate all details to ensure accuracy and consistency across all consumer facing materials
  • Experience with Salsify, and review syndication platforms like BazaarVoice
  • Communicates clearly, highly organized with proven multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Excel to gain efficiencies in working with large data sets
  • A data driven decision maker who knows how to leverage information to build a business case for new content creation and selling in white-space ideas cross-functionally

The Senior Retail Content Specialist has the flexibility to be a remote role, with a preference to be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
