Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager based in Northern California to oversee new store construction projects across California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada.

You will manage remodels, coordinate with landlords, architects, and contractors, and provide updates to internal teams. Travel will be required; strong knowledge of building codes and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Project.
• Basic construction management software abilities (Lucernex).

Responsibilities

• Maintain New Store Construction Progress schedule and updates with landlords, architects, general contractors and planning dept.
• Oversee construction management of new stores, including deals, scheduling and issue resolution; value engineering and QA.
• Manage remodels and special projects in stores with clear communication between operations and contractors; ensure safety and quality.
• Provide construction updates to Construction Department and Field Operations Teams.
• Travel as needed for progress and QA checks; handle budget and change orders.
• Support store operations in timing and access for new stores; assist on remodels and warranty items.
• Review construction documents for adherence to plans and codes; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
