Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager based in Northern California to oversee new store construction and remodels across CA, OR, WA, AZ and NV.

You will collaborate with landlords, architects, GCs, and planning departments, travel as needed, and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget while maintaining safety and compliance. Applicants should have 6+ years in construction project management, proficiency with MS Office and Project, and knowledge of building codes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of construction project management experience.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Project experience.
• Basic construction management software abilities (Lucernex).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain New Store Construction Progress schedule and updates thru vigilant communications with landlords, architects, and contractors.
• Oversee construction management of new stores and remodels to meet schedules and quality expectations.
• Coordinate communication between operations and contractors; ensure safety and issue resolution.
• Provide construction updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Travel as needed for progress and quality assurance checks.
• Handle budgets and change orders.
• Support store operations during openings and remodels.
• Review documents for compliance with plans and codes.
