Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Southern California to oversee new store construction and remodels across California, Arizona and Nevada.

You will coordinate with landlords, architects, general contractors, and planning departments, and will travel for progress and quality assurance checks. This role supports TJX brands including TJMaxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense and Sierra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Project.
• Basic construction software abilities such as Lucernex.

Responsibilities

• Maintain New Store Construction Progress schedule and updates.
• Manage construction of new stores, remodels, and special projects to meet schedule.
• Coordinate with landlords, architects, GC, and planning departments to ensure compliance.
• Provide construction updates to Construction Department and Field Operations Teams.
• Travel as needed for progress and QA checks.
• Handle budgets and change orders.
• Support store operations during openings and remodels.
