Job summary

IAPMO Group is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple retail developments across the Southwest from our Phoenix, AZ office. The role requires a minimum of ten years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Urban Design/Finance, and a proven track record as lead development professional.

You will manage projects from concept to final CO, coordinate with the Development Manager, prepare budgets, review bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee permits and closeout.

Qualifications

• Ten years of construction/development experience.
• Lead development professional for multiple retail projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from concept to final Certificate of Occupancy and warranty.
• Coordinate with Development Manager for input during planning.
• Prepare budgets and site/building cost estimates.
• Qualify contractors and review bid sets/ drawings.
• Prepare bid packages and analyze bids for best value.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders with accuracy.
• Coordinate permits with authorities and track approvals.
• Provide weekly updates and maintain RFI/communication with stakeholders.
• Travel to projects three to four times during construction.
