Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a diligent Cashier/Stocker in Oklahoma to support daily store operations, assist customers, stock merchandise, and manage plan-o-grams. You will help maintain a clean, organized store and provide superior service at the register.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some supervisory exposure, with strong math, communication, and cash handling skills essential to daily workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions.
• Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves according to store procedures.
• Operate cash register and total customer purchases.
• Greet customers and assist locating merchandise.
• Maintain clean and organized store and safety.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
• Open and close store under Area Manager directions.
• Authorize refunds and overrides in the absence of the Store Manager.
