Pareto Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our centralized analytics team.

You will be the data-driven partner across pricing, finance, operations, and merchandising, delivering insights that inform critical decisions and reporting at scale as we migrate to a new ERP. You will build and enhance PowerBI dashboards, write SQL queries, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (any discipline, preferably quantitative or business-related).
• 2–4 years of professional experience, ideally your second role post-graduation.
• Retail industry experience strongly preferred—familiarity with concepts like pricing, margin, clustering, merchandising, etc.
• Proficiency in PowerBI is highly preferred; Tableau or similar tools may be considered if the candidate has strong retail experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL (ability to write or learn to write queries).
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to deliver actionable insights across various business domains (e.g., pricing, margin, operations, labor, merchandising).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports—primarily using PowerBI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in migrating and reimagining reports as part of the new ERP implementation.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decisions.
