As Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney you will represent debtors-in-possession, administrative agents, secured lenders, or official committees across all phases of complex Chapter 11 proceedings — from first-day motions through plan confirmation. You will also advise on out-of-court restructuring alternatives, distressed debt trading issues, and Section 363 asset sale processes.

The practice offers the full spectrum of debtor and creditor-side representation, providing associates and mid-level attorneys with genuinely balanced experience. The firm is an active recruiter of candidates from top restructuring boutiques and Big Law restructuring groups.

Requirements

• JD from a top-tier law school; Illinois bar admission required
• 4-8 years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience at a large law firm or specialty boutique
• Substantial Chapter 11 experience on either the debtor or creditor side in complex cases
• Experience with Section 363 sales, DIP financing, and plan of reorganization confirmation
• Strong academic credentials and writing ability
