Eataly North America is seeking a Senior Host in San Jose, CA to greet guests, seat them, and manage restaurant flow during service. You will train new hosts, handle reservations, and support events, ensuring a welcoming experience.

This role requires hospitality know-how, basic computer skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic floor plan across shifts Wednesday through Sunday, 12 PM–8 PM. Compensation ranges per hour are listed in the posting.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet, seat and say goodbye to guests as the first and last point of contact.
• Diligently manage seating and waitlists to balance walk-ins and reservations.
• Train new host hires on floor plan, OpenTable features, and hospitality standards.
• Assist with responding to Guest Relations emails and event inquiries as needed.
• Maintain restaurant appearance and ensure spaces are properly allocated for events.
• Oversee seating for AM and PM shifts, ensuring smooth shift flow and maximum occupancy.
• Communicate reservation details to management to ensure guest recognition.
• Support servers and bus staff as needed to maintain service efficiency.
• Execute other duties as required.
