Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group in Huntington Beach is seeking a Senior Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead Pasea Hotel & Spa's restaurant and bar outlets, including Lorea Restaurant and Treehouse on PCH, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

You will oversee daily operations, coach managers and hourly staff, uphold luxury service standards, manage labor and costs, and collaborate with culinary, marketing, and events teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in luxury settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily operational leader for all assigned outlets, fostering hospitality, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Maintain luxury service standards, including cleanliness, ambiance, and workflow, with adherence to opening/closing and cash handling procedures.
• Coach and develop managers, supervisors and hourly staff through real-time feedback and proactive leadership.
• Conduct daily lineups focused on service standards, product knowledge and guest engagement.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard and develop high‑performing restaurant leaders; conduct evaluations and development planning.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Culinary team to ensure food quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Work with Marketing and Event Services to execute promotions, holiday programming, private dining and events.
• Manage labor productivity, scheduling, food and beverage costs and operating expenses; support forecasting and inventory.
• Utilize guest feedback and service metrics to improve coaching and elevate standards.
• Support retention initiatives through communication and career development.

As the Senior Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will lead the daily operations of Pasea Hotel & Spa’s restaurant and bar outlets—including Lorea Restaurant and Treehouse on PCH—ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence.

Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as daily operational leader for all assigned outlets, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain luxury service standards, including cleanliness, ambiance, and workflow, and ensure consistent adherence to opening, closing, and cash‑handling procedures.
• Coach and develop managers, supervisors, and hourly team members through real‑time feedback and proactive leadership.
• Conduct daily lineups focused on service standards, product knowledge, and guest engagement.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop high‑performing restaurant leaders; conduct performance evaluations and development planning.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and Culinary team to ensure food quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Event Services to execute promotions, holiday programming, private dining, and other special events.
• Manage labor productivity, scheduling, food, beverage, and operating expenses; support forecasting, payroll, and inventory processes.
• Use guest feedback, online reviews, Medallia scores, and service metrics to provide coaching and elevate service standards.
• Support retention initiatives through communication, recognition, and career development.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum five years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and lead multiple restaurant and bar operations.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and guest engagement, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to stay calm and visible in a fast‑paced environment.
• Financial understanding of labor management, scheduling, and cost control.

Certifications

• Food Handler Card
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification
