Acute Medical Staffing in Mendham, NJ is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a permanent, full-time role at a 124-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. The RT will perform respiratory assessments, treatments, monitoring, and resident education.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' respiratory status and monitor changes.
• Provide respiratory treatments, oxygen, nebulizers, suctioning as prescribed.
• Manage respiratory equipment and oxygen systems.
• Develop individualized respiratory care plans.
• Educate residents and families on conditions and treatments.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in care conferences.
