Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) / Respiratory Nurse (RN) for a Skilled Nursing facility in New York. The role focuses on post-acute respiratory care, diagnostics, and treatment planning for patients with cardio-pulmonary and neurologic conditions. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Typical schedule is 5 days per week, 37.5–40 hours. Candidates must have RT program graduation and active license in the state.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the respiratory field and terminology.
• Ability to operate respiratory therapy equipment and devices.
• Demonstrated judgment and discretion in clinical decisions.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff.
• Licensure and ongoing licensure maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient treatments per clinical procedures, including evaluations and plan of care.
• Documents treatment notes, charges, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Communicates with supervisors and interdisciplinary team on patient progress and plans.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Contributes to rehab team conferences and discharge planning discussions.
• Maintains safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures.
