Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of EKG interpretation experience.
• Experience contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate discharge planning with case management and family.
• Willingness to relocate to St. Paul, MN, or work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Round on assigned patients each shift, documenting findings within Fortive's electronic record before handoff
• Coordinate discharge planning alongside case management, social work, and the patient's family in St. Paul
• Partner with respiratory, PT, and pharmacy to keep the part-time care plan moving as one
• Prep exam rooms, instruments, and consent forms ahead of each scheduled appointment in St. Paul
• Comfort post-op patients through the first hard hours, managing nausea, pain, and fear together
• Précis each shift's events into a handoff note the part-time team can read in thirty seconds
• Stock the crash cart and verify expiration dates so nothing fails when seconds count
