Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) II to deliver high-quality respiratory care across acute and critical care units. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients, demonstrate leadership, and precept students under the Pulmonary Services team leadership.

Requires Wisconsin license (RRT preferred) with BLS/ACLS, and CoARC-accredited training; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience; able to demonstrate RCP II competency within 6 months
• 3+ years of hospital-based respiratory care preferred
• State of Wisconsin license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required; RRT required or CRT accepted for incumbents prior to 7/1/21

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care per physician orders in acute and critical care areas
• Demonstrate clinical skills and critical thinking in patient assessments and procedures
• Precept students on rotation and serve as lead therapist as needed
