Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Active Florida RT license required; CRT eligible with RT upgrade within 36 months.
• Basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support.
• New hires must obtain NRP within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerosol and oxygen therapy and chest physiotherapy.
• Administer CPT, incentive spirometry, and monitor arterial blood gases.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry.
• Assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and support continual patient care improvements.
