Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing in VA.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program; CRT or RRT.
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience; BLS/ACLS/NRP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced respiratory care with independent practice.
• Administers aerosol, oxygen, bronchodilator therapies and broncho's hygiene.
• Establishes and manages mechanical ventilation and monitors patients.
• Assesses treatment efficacy and adjusts plans with the team.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety; educates patients and families.
• Participates in quality initiatives and professional development.
